MY STORY ...

Born in 1967 as the last of six children to an Irish Catholic Mom and Dad was how it all started. Tim had a troubled youth, as his mother was actually Protestant and his father was Catholic. Every morning he saw his mother and father kiss each other goodbye as they readied to leave for work and there they would sit ... each in their own car, waiting for the other to start their car first!

In reality his family was quite loving and from a young age he enjoyed entertaining, including mixing drinks at age seven for his parents and their friends. Most kids got GI Joe's or building blocks for Christmas ... Tim got Martini sets and was read Mr. Boston's bartender's guide at bedtime. Now let's not judge too hastily, it's all a matter of perspective ... Tim was the only kid in third grade with a cool nickname ... Timmy 'Three Fingers' Collins ... and he's always been generous, whether with a drink or a laugh.

Tim was bitten by the Comedy bug way back in 1991 while serving in the Coast Guard and stationed in Florida. Unfortunately, the night he got the courage to ask about going up for the open mic they were full. So what's a good sailor to do? Get drunk of course! Which he did quite successfully. Again ... unfortunately, a spot opened up and they asked him to go up anyway. Well, to this day he can't tell you what he said, but when he got off stage to raucous laughter and high fives ... he was smitten.

Tim has performed stand-up for several years, including a number of comedy competitions. He was a finalist in the 2006 Carnival Cruise Challenge and 'Joke-Off 2003' in Dayton, Ohio, the 'Funniest Person Contest' in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the winner of Stand-Up New York's 'Search for the Funniest Irish Comedian.'

Tim's love of life and laughter are an ever present part of his character every day and are eminently evident throughout his show.
